THE WEATHER

We've had some good warmth and sunshine again this week! It'll be almost 80 today! Rain and chilly temps creep in on Saturday, but it looks like the 70-degree warmth will be back next week. Just look for pops of too much rain next week.

THIS JUST IN

The main road to Swallow Falls State Park is still CLOSED. They're repairing a small bridge on Maple Glade Road (the main road through the park) and the park ranger I talked to said they're hoping it'll be fixed by Memorial Day. In the meantime, you can take the "back way" into the park. More info here...I also shared a reel showing the back way on the @fortheloveofdeepcreek Instagram.

Outdoor seating is ready to go at Vagabond Taproom in downtown Oakland!

Firewater is getting a new GIANT dock so we can wine and dine on the water! They're hoping it's in for Memorial Day Weekend. WOWZER, this is going to be cool.

THINGS TO DO

Pawn Run Bar & Kitchen is having a second anniversary weekend! Stop in for live music Friday, Saturday and Sunday and they're going to have specials, too. No matter the weather or occasion, Pawn Run is a good spot for food and drink.
