One of the best events at Deep Creek, in my opinion. 💃🎉😎 And don’t let the rain in the forecast scare you! Last I saw it was only going to rain in the morning. PLUS all wine tastings are under roof! The only time you could get wet is walking building to building or ordering food but it’s all worth it! From a boat ride with friends the other evening. We anchored, swam, found friends, got food at @arrowheadmarket (their chicken tenders + fresh cut fries are so good!), tried to get ice cream at @lscreamery but the line was too long so we ended up at @katies_icecream in the rain. But this was a top moment from all of that! Being out with friends, watching the kids get excited about ice cream and a nearby wake boarder doing a trick, the sky lights up with cotton candy sunset colors and suddenly you stop and admire and are just so thankful for where you live and the people you get to do life with. I’ve been away this week and won’t be able to do a Thursday live today, but here’s a fun fact: @brendaspizzeria caters! This is a quick snap of some leftovers from Sarah and Pierre’s delicious wedding dinner. I photographed their big day this past Saturday at @red.barn.inn with just 35 guests at their side, off and on rain showers and a reception filled with the Italian aromas of eggplant Parmesan, chicken Alfredo and breadsticks. Here’s something! A personalized cup from Sheri and Russ - they married at Deep Creek this past weekend and I was their photographer. They had their ceremony on the trail between Swallow Falls and Herrington Manor State Parks (wow, it’s a beautiful trail!) and treated their group of eight to dinner and drinks at @firewaterkitchen afterwards.
